FAQ: FAQ

Is it possible to celebrate our wedding at Sholing Valleys Study Centre?

If you would like to use the field next to the centre for a party, you are very welcome. We ask visitors to apply the leave no trace idea.
If you would like to have access to a kitchen, toilets, and be able to take shelter indoors if it rains, please drop us an email

Are you open in the winter?

The site is open all year round for the public to access.
We are currently unable to staff the centre every day, but are doing our best to make sure the public can visit. Please email us for more info

What wildlife can be seen on site

We are lucky enough to have a very diverse habitat on the small 20-acre reserve. We have an acid wildflower meadow, which is home to many butterfly species, a spring fed pond, and a predominantly deciduous woodland, with a good mix of wildlife friendly species. We have lists of different sightings on the reserve, if this is something that would interest you, please contact us on our email.
