About Naturewatch

Our monthly Naturewatch club is for accompanied children aged 4 to 11.

The aim of Naturewatch is to encourage children’s interest in nature through fun educational activities while helping to raise awareness about the natural world.

Activities include: nature walks; plant, animal and fungi identification; crafts; games.

Each session has a different theme, such as bird, spring, hibernation, etc.

Next sessions

Sessions are on the last Sunday of the month (except August and December) at Sholing Valleys Study Centre, Miller’s Pond Nature Reserve.

Each session lasts 90 minutes, from 10.30am - 12.00 noon.

Sessions are £1.50 per child, or are free to members of Sholing Valleys.

Membership for the whole year costs just £6. The first session is free as a taster. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

As all our activities are volunteer-run, there may be changes depending on volunteer availability. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
