About Spring & Summer Sessions

Join us in these open sessions available through Spring and Summer 2023, offering informal activities and opportunities to enhance your connection to and knowledge of your local green space.

With a different theme and activity each week, we will explore different ways to engage with the nature reserve. Examples of activities include:

  • Litter picking and "trash art" upcycling

  • Listening walks and sound scavenger hunts

  • Zine creating

  • Bird watching

  • Experimental nature poetry writing

  • Land art

Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see up to date activity information.

We are also welcome to working in partnership with other groups and individuals to deliver this programme of activities. Please get in touch if you would like to work together.

These sessions are welcome to all and free to attend, however donations are welcome to cover the costs of sessions and towards running the Study Centre.

Please note that these sessions will form part of a PhD project looking at practices of ecosocial belonging in urban wild spaces. This should not affect your experience, however for more information please visit this link.

Next sessions

Sessions will be running regularly from May to August 2023. Usually this will be on the following days, however there may be adjustments to accommodate for other events, bank holidays and volunteer availability so please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.
