Events volunteering

Are you looking for a way to get involved in your community and have some fun at the same time? Consider supporting Sholing Valleys as an events volunteer!

We host a variety of events throughout the year, including our popular Spring Fayre, annual Apple Day, Christmas Fayre, and a programme of guided walks throughout the year. Additionally, we also represent the charity at other community events throughout the city, offering a range of interactive nature-themed activities to give a taste of what we're about.

As an event volunteer, you'll have the chance to get involved in a range of exciting activities. You might help set up stalls and decorations for the Spring Fayre, bake cakes for the Apple Day, or lead a guided walk through the reserve. If you're interested in planning events, we're always looking for volunteers to help with organizing and promoting our events, so there's plenty of opportunity to get involved in that too.

But it's not just about the work we do – it's about the community we've built. When you volunteer with Sholing Valleys, you'll be part of a passionate, supportive group of individuals who share your love of nature and the environment. You'll have the chance to make new friends, have fun, and be part of making some of the most exciting local events happen.

No experience is necessary to volunteer with us. We provide all the necessary training and support, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and build your confidence. All we ask is that you bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!

So why not join the fun and volunteer with Sholing Valleys Events today? Get in touch to be part of something truly special and make a real difference in your community.
